Jeff Mitchell, president of Mitchco Contractors Inc. and Hickory native, is the local preferred licensed general contractor.  Jeff’s engineering degree from NC State and over 10 years of experience has provided him with a strong background to provide the highest level of quality, craftsmanship, and value.  Jeff manages all components and stages of the construction process and has established a reputation of providing unmatched quality at reasonable prices.  He aims to deliver beyond what is expected and makes building a home fun by creating a process that is easy and convenient for his customers.

Jeff is a family man and active member of First Presbyterian Church in downtown Hickory.  When not building and remodeling homes, or spending time with his wife and two sons, Jeff enjoys donating his construction expertise in the form of missions to communities around the world..

Mitchco confidently stands behind its work with an in-house warranty.  Jeff takes a proactive approach by contacting you thirty days, six months, and again at eleven months after closing in order to identify any issues that need to be addressed.
